The MBEC™ is the Minority Business Development Center™, a federally funded program by the Minority Business Development Agency, United States Department of Commerce, operated by the Puerto Rico Products Association and covering the whole island, including Vieques and Culebra, under a cooperative and economic agreement with the Federal Commerce Department through its Minority Business Development Agency.
The program's objective is to provide ongoing, quality assistance to businesses with success potential, so they reach greater participation in the development of the nation's commerce.
For that purpose, the Center professionals in all enterprise disciplines, such as management, marketing, finance, accounting, and others, who are available to counsel any local company.
